Setanta Available on Cox in Northern Virginia

November 18, 2008

Soccer (or football to the international folks) fans are rejoicing because Setanta Sports network just got their first deal on a cable provider platform (which they have been trying to secure for years). Setanta channel is now available in Fairfax and Fredericksburg VA for $12.99 a month. Cox is using the Washington DC suburbs as a test market, but expects to roll out the channel to other markets in the upcoming months. The cost may go up to $14.99 when Setanta is rolled out across the country. Previous to now, Setanta was only available in the US via  Satellite Television, the internet, now defunct IPTV provider ITVN and Verizon FiOs TV.

If you live in Northern VA get Cox with Sentanta! If not call or email Cox and express your interest, it will help get Setanta to more markets as soon as possible.

If your area is not served by Cox, you can still get Sentanta through Satellite TV or call your local cable provider and express your interest. Now that Cox has “broken the seal” on this, all other providers will probably be hustling to stay competitive and carry Setanta as well.
